Get Posting vs Post Bridge: which fits how you actually post?

You wrote the thread on Sunday night, seven posts that finally said the thing properly. You opened Post Bridge to schedule it and there is a box for the post. One box. Nowhere to put post two.

So it goes out alone on Tuesday at nine, and you set an alarm for 9:01 to paste the other six in from your phone before the first one gets buried.

That is not carelessness. They publish the limitation and the reason, which is more than most products do. But it is the second Tuesday in a row.

If you post to Pinterest or Bluesky, they cover both and we cover neither, so take the exit now. Same if you work alone and want the cheapest way to reach a lot of accounts, which is theirs and is not close.

The X API costs five thousand dollars a month

That is their number, on their help page, as the reason threads are not scheduled yet. It is a good reason.

We pay it. That is the whole of this difference, and it is a spending decision rather than a clever one. A thread here is up to ten posts on X or Threads, in order, on every plan.

One post, or the things that are not one post

Post Bridge is built around the post. One caption, one set of media, nine destinations, go. That unit is why it is faster than us at its own job, and why an assistant can drive so much of it.

Everything we do that they do not is a case where the unit is not one post. A thread is a sequence. A client is a set of accounts. A contractor is a second person. A caption fine on LinkedIn and too long on X is one post with two legal shapes. None of them fit in the box.

The first settles it outright for some. If Pinterest or Bluesky are on your list, take Post Bridge and do not look back. The rest of this page is for everyone else.

Set a password and share it with your assistant

Those are their instructions, near enough word for word. Log in, set a password, send your assistant your email address and that password. The only security advice offered is to change it periodically.

For one person hiring an editor, that is reasonable. It stops being reasonable when they leave. There is no seat to switch off, nothing saying which posts were theirs, and changing the password signs you out too.

Here you invite someone: they get their own login and a role, and you remove them without touching anything else. That starts on Pro. A client can have a workspace of their own, though each is its own subscription.

One thing this is not about: both products connect accounts through official OAuth, and neither sees your Instagram password. This is the scheduler's password.

Where the post gets checked

Select four platforms and each version is checked against that platform's real rules as you write. A caption twenty characters over on one platform. A video eleven seconds too long for X. A TikTok post missing its consent boxes. You get the reason, and nothing schedules until it clears.

Whether Post Bridge checks before scheduling we could not establish. Their help centre covers limits and failures, which is not the same claim.

Trying it without moving anything

Nothing in your Post Bridge queue comes with you, and we are not building an importer. So do not move at first: keep both running for a fortnight.

Then test the two things this page is about. Schedule your longest thread and see which takes all seven posts. Break a caption on purpose and see which tells you before Tuesday.

If it holds up, move the rest. If not, you have lost a fortnight of double entry and you know why you are staying.
