Connect Get Posting once and the assistant you already talk to can draft posts, check them against each platform, schedule your week, and tell you how last month went. If you do not use an AI assistant, skip this page: Get Posting does all of it on its own.

Add this in ChatGPT or Claude, then sign in to approve your workspace.
Each outcome below names the tool behind it, so you can see the whole surface before you connect anything. Everything it sends goes onto your calendar first, and there is no tool that deletes.
See every account in the workspace
You ask for a post about the new pricing, and the agent needs to know you have two Instagram accounts and only one of them is the business one.
It reads the workspace before it writes anything: which accounts are connected, which are ready to publish, the character and media limits each platform enforces, and the time zone your schedule runs in. Nothing gets pasted between apps, and it addresses the right account because it can see which accounts exist.
Tool
list_connected_accounts
Write one post and adjust the wording per platform
The post is right for LinkedIn and forty characters too long for X.
It writes shared content once, then replaces the text for any single account that needs different wording. Every draft comes back with the validation attached: the count that is over, the aspect ratio a platform will reject, the field that is missing. It fixes that in the same conversation, and creating a draft never publishes anything.
Tool
create_composition
update_composition
Send one local video to Reels, TikTok, and Shorts at once
You have just exported three vertical cuts to a folder on your laptop, and the next hour is normally the same file uploaded by hand to Instagram, then TikTok, then YouTube.
Ask for it once and the agent runs the whole thing: it reads the file off your machine, sends the bytes straight to Get Posting's media storage rather than through the conversation, waits for the upload to verify, then attaches that one file to an Instagram Reel, a TikTok, and a YouTube Short in a single post, each with its own caption and its own settings. MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, WMV, FLV, and 3GP all work, as do JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF. Aspect ratio, duration, and file size are checked against every platform first, so a clip TikTok would have rejected comes back as a sentence in the chat instead of a failed post.
Tool
create_media_upload
complete_media_upload
Reuse a file already in your Media Library
The clip went out on TikTok last week, you want it on Reels now, and it is already sitting in the workspace.
It searches the Media Library by filename and reads back ready images and videos, newest first, then attaches the one you meant by ID. Nothing gets uploaded twice, and when several files share a name it compares what it can see and asks you rather than guessing. This is also the path for an assistant that cannot reach your local files: put the file in Get Posting yourself, then ask for it by name.
Tool
list_media
Schedule a week of posts in one conversation
It is Sunday evening, five posts are written, and none of them have a time on them.
“Space these out over the next fortnight, mornings.” Each draft that passes validation goes onto the calendar at a local wall-clock time in your workspace time zone. Ask for one to go out now and it schedules a minute ahead, which publishes a minute later, still passing through the calendar where you can catch it.
Tool
schedule_composition
Pull a scheduled post back to a draft and change it
The launch moved to Tuesday and four posts still say Thursday.
It cancels the schedule at the platform, returns that same post to an editable draft, changes what you asked it to change, and schedules it again. Scheduled content is never edited underneath you: it comes back to a draft first, every time.
Tool
unschedule_composition
Ask what is already scheduled
A client asks what is going out this week and you are on your phone, nowhere near a dashboard.
It can list posts by status, search the text of what you have written, or ask for a window of dates, then read one back in full: the content each account is getting, the settings, the validation, and what happened when it published.
Tool
list_compositions
get_composition
Ask how the last month performed
You want to know whether the month was actually better, not just busier.
It reads follower, view, impression, and engagement totals against the previous period, breaks them down per platform, and names the posts that did best. That covers everything published to your connected accounts, including posts you published outside Get Posting.

Which AI assistants this works with
ChatGPT and Claude today, plus other assistants that support remote MCP connectors. There is no separate app to install and nothing new to learn. What you can do still depends on your assistant's own plan and settings.

How to connect it
Three steps, once. Your assistant then runs through exactly the same validation and scheduling the app does, because it is the same product underneath.

Add this in ChatGPT or Claude, then sign in to approve your workspace.
The URL above is a remote MCP server. It uses the 2026-07-28 Model Context Protocol over Streamable HTTP. The server is stateless, so each request stands on its own and there is no session to keep alive. ChatGPT and Claude handle the protocol for you. If you are setting up a CLI, choose Streamable HTTP and OAuth. Clients still on the 2025 protocol family use this same URL.

1
Connect your social accounts
Add the accounts you want the agent to reach inside Get Posting. It can only ever use accounts that are already connected.
2
Paste one URL into ChatGPT or Claude
Add Get Posting under your assistant's apps or connectors. There is no API key to generate, store, or rotate.
3
Approve one workspace
Sign in to Get Posting, choose the single workspace the agent may touch, review the permission, and allow it.

Your agent only reaches the one workspace you approve
An assistant with access to your social accounts is either genuinely useful or genuinely alarming, and the only thing separating the two is what it is actually allowed to do. So that came first.
It never holds your credentials. There is no key to paste into a chat window and forget about. You sign in to Get Posting yourself, and the assistant gets in through the one workspace you chose and no other.
Everything it sends goes through your calendar. It writes drafts and schedules the ones that validate, and it has no way to delete anything, so a misread instruction stays cancellable. Access is rechecked on every request: remove someone from the workspace and their assistant stops working with it that moment.
You sign in yourself, there is no key to paste into a chat
One workspace per connection, and the agent cannot switch
Membership and role are checked on every single request
Only owners and admins can upload media or change the calendar
Remove someone from the workspace and their agent stops immediately
Every draft is validated before it can reach the calendar
Current limitations, and what to ask us for
Here is what the agent does not reach yet, so you know before you connect everything. If one of these is the thing you actually wanted it for, tell us. We would rather build the one people keep asking for than guess at the order.
Automations and the inbox are not connected to it
Comment and DM automations, and replying to comments and messages, are dashboard work today. The agent's surface is composing, scheduling, and reporting. If you want your assistant triaging the inbox or setting up an automation, say so.
Uploading a local file needs an assistant that can read your files
The upload runs from wherever your agent runs, so an assistant with no access to your disk has nothing to send. It can still attach anything already in the Media Library, which means you can add the file to Get Posting yourself and then ask for it by name.
It does not delete, or retry a failed post
Deletion is deliberately absent from the tool set. A post that failed at the platform is retried from the dashboard, where you can see what actually went wrong before you send it again.
Analytics comes back over fixed ranges
7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or a year, for the accounts you name or all of them. There is no arbitrary date window and no report for one individual post. A platform that does not publish a metric returns nothing for it rather than a zero, and a good assistant will say so instead of quoting it.
Frequently asked questions
What the connector is, how to add it to your assistant, and what it is allowed to do once it is there.
What is a social media MCP server?+
MCP is the Model Context Protocol, the standard AI assistants use to connect to outside tools. A social media MCP server gives a compatible assistant a defined set of actions it may take on your social accounts. Get Posting's server exposes 12 tools: it can upload or reuse media, read your connected accounts, write and correct drafts, schedule the drafts that pass validation, unschedule a post back to a draft, read what is scheduled, and report on how published content performed.
Get Posting uses MCP 2026-07-28 over stateless Streamable HTTP. Each request stands on its own, and we do not issue MCP session IDs. Clients from the 2025 protocol family (2024-10-07 through 2025-11-25) connect to the same URL. The older HTTP+SSE transport is not supported.
How do I add Get Posting in ChatGPT, Claude, Grok Bot, or another assistant?+
In ChatGPT, use the web app: open Apps in settings, create a custom app, and enter the Get Posting URL. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, add a custom connector, enter the same URL, and sign in; it can then work on web, desktop, and mobile. Grok Bot uses Plugins, but its custom-server controls are still changing, so follow the current form in your installed version. Other assistants that support remote MCP connectors use the same URL and OAuth flow. Availability still depends on the assistant's plan, device, and administrator.
Get Posting supports X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. The agent can only use accounts already connected to the workspace you approve.
Yes, if the assistant can read files on your machine. It sends the file straight to Get Posting's storage rather than through the conversation, then attaches it to the post. JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, WMV, FLV, and 3GP are accepted. If the assistant cannot reach your files, add the file to your Media Library first and ask for it by name.
Yes. There is no separate publish-now button, and there does not need to be: the agent schedules a minute ahead and it publishes a minute later. What that buys you is a queue everything passes through, so a misread instruction is a draft or a scheduled post you can still cancel rather than something already live.
Can the agent delete my posts?+
No. There is no delete action anywhere in the tool set. It can pull a scheduled post back to a draft and change it, which covers the honest version of that request, but nothing an agent does can remove work from your workspace.
Do I give my AI assistant an API key?+
No. The hosted connector uses OAuth. You sign in directly to Get Posting, choose one workspace, review the requested permission, and approve it. Your assistant never holds a credential for your social accounts, and Get Posting never asks you to paste one into a chat window. If an assistant's connector dialog offers a token or API key field, leave it empty: there is no key to paste, and the sign-in starts from the URL on its own.
The connector is part of Get Posting rather than an add-on, so it is included with your plan and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You need a Get Posting account with at least one connected social account before there is anything for an agent to do.
